Bring these spoOoky cupcakes to your monster bash.⁠ ⁠ Frankenstein Cupcakes⁠ Ingredients:⁠ Pre-made cupcakes⁠ 6 tablespoons sugar ⁠ 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch ⁠ 1 cup milk ⁠ 2 egg yolks⁠ 1 tablespoon butter⁠ 1 teaspoon vanilla ⁠ Green and black fondant ⁠ Candy eyeballs⁠ ⁠ Steps:⁠ 1. Add sugar, cornstarch and milk to a large saucepan over medium heat and mix until smooth. Stir constantly until it begins to thicken. Reduce heat and continue to cook for about 2 minutes. ⁠ 2. Remove from heat and add about 1 tablespoon of milk mixture to eggs, whisking until smooth. Slowly add 2 more tablespoons and pour egg mixture back into saucepan. Return to medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring until mixture thickens, about 2 minutes.⁠ 3. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla and transfer to a bowl. Place plastic wrap directly onto the custard and place in fridge to chill.⁠ 4. Roll out green fondant and use a large round cookie cutter to cut out green circles about 1/2 inch large than the cupcakes. ⁠ 5. Roll out black fondant and use a paring knife to cut the black hair and eyebrows. Brush a thin layer of water on the green fondant to stick on hair and eyebrows. Lightly score the face of the monster to make a mouth and add candy eyes.⁠ 6. Fill piping bag with custard and pipe onto cupcakes. 7. Gently cover cupcakes with monster faces, pressing the edges onto the sides of the cupcakes.⁠

Food Debate: Is cotton candy pizza better than regular pizza?⁠ 🎥:   @tastemade_japan  ⁠ ⁠ Cotton Candy Pizza⁠ Ingredients: ⁠ Pizza dough:⁠ 1 1/4 cups bread flour⁠ 1/2 teaspoon salt⁠ 1 tablespoon sugar⁠ 1 teaspoon dry yeast⁠ 1 tablespoon olive oil⁠ 1/4 cup lukewarm water⁠ Toppings:⁠ 1 cup mixed berries⁠ 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese⁠ 1/4 cup cream cheese⁠ 1 cup mini marshmallows⁠ Ginger honey⁠ Dried strawberries⁠ 2 tablespoons colored sugar⁠ ⁠ Steps:⁠ 1. Make the pizza dough: In a mixing bowl, combine dough ingredients. Continue to knead with your hands until dough becomes shiny. Cover with a damp dish towel and set aside to rise for 30 minutes.⁠ 2. Preheat oven to 390 degrees.⁠ 3. Add the colored sugar to a cotton candy maker to make the cotton candy.⁠ 4. Coat the pizza dough with the cream cheese, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, mixed berries and marshmallows.⁠ 5. Bake it for 15 minutes.⁠ 6. Place the cotton candy over the pizza, and scatter dried strawberries over it. Pour warm ginger honey over the top.⁠

Agree or disagree? ⁠ 🎥:   @tastemadeuk  ⁠ ⁠ Carrot Cake Roll Hack⁠ Ingredients:⁠ 1 carrot cake sponge (approx 400g)⁠ 1 tbsp milk⁠ 350g cream cheese frosting⁠ 300g white chocolate, melted⁠ ⁠ Steps:⁠ 1. In a bowl, mash the sponge with the milk and 50g cream cheese icing.⁠ 2. Place between 2 sheets of cling film and roll out to approx. 15x25cm. Spread the remaining 300g cream cheese icing over the rolled out sponge and roll up, starting from the shorter end. Place on top of a wire rack that is set over an oven tray and pour over the melted chocolate to cover completely. Leave to set before transferring to a serving plate and cutting into slices.

In a large nonstick skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry eggs one at a time until edges are brown and crispy and whites have set. Use a fish spatula to allow excess oil to stay in the skillet then remove eggs and set aside. ⁠ 2. In the same skillet, add shallot and cook for a few minutes until softened and golden brown. Add garlic, peas, carrots and kimchi. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes. ⁠ 3. Push all ingredients to one side of the pan then add the brown rice in the open space. Cook until you can hear the rice crackling then combine all ingredients and cook for about 3 to 4 more minutes. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil and stir to combine. Fill each bowl with about 1 cup of the mixture and top with a fried egg. Garnish with green onions and red chili pepper. Enjoy this dish for breakfast, lunch or dinner!⁠ 4. Note: Day-old rice works best because it has had a chance to dry out and will absorb all the flavors and fry up better. Cook the brown rice according to package. Spread the rice in a single layer on a baking sheet and refrigerate overnight to dry out. Alternatively, you can bake the cooked rice in the oven on a baking sheet at 250 degrees for about 1 hour and use it the same day.

This pie is for...⁠ A - Breakfast⁠ B - Lunch/Dinner⁠ C - Dessert⁠ D - All of the above⁠ ⁠ Mac & Cheese Pie with Bacon Weave⁠ Ingredients:⁠ For the dough:⁠ 2 sticks unsalted butter, cubed and chilled in the freezer⁠ 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, chilled in the freezer⁠ 1 teaspoon salt⁠ 3/4 cup ice water⁠ For the mac & cheese:⁠ 2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked al dente, approximately 11 minutes⁠ 2 tablespoons butter⁠ 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour⁠ 1 1/2 cups whole milk⁠ 1/2 teaspoon salt⁠ 1/2 teaspoon cayenne⁠ 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated⁠ 7 pieces thick-cut bacon⁠ ⁠ Steps:⁠ 1. Make the dough:  In a food processor fitted with the dough attachment, pulse flour and salt until combined. Add butter and pulse until pea-sized clumps are formed, approximately 6 times. Pulse in water until dough comes together. Shape into a disc and refrigerate for at least an hour.⁠ 2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.⁠ 3. Roll dough out into a large circle, approximately 12 by 12 inches.  Press into a pie plate and create desired crust border. Line the dough with parchment paper and fill the bottom with beans or pie beads. Bake crust for 20 to 25 minutes until golden. Set aside to cool.⁠ 4. Make the mac & cheese:  In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add flour and whisk until golden brown. Add whole milk and stir until mixture thickens. Add salt and cayenne. Stir in cheddar and add cooked elbow macaroni. Pour into baked pie shell and set aside.⁠ 5. Weave the bacon:  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.⁠ 6. Lay 4 bacon strips vertically across the filled mac & cheese pie. Lift the first and third strips and lay a bacon strip horizontally across the pie. Lay the strips down and then lift the second and fourth vertical strips and repeat with the horizontal strips. Alternate this process until the top of the pie is completely covered. Trim any excess bacon.⁠ 7. Bake the pie for 20 to 25 minutes until bacon is cooked. Allow to cool for 20 minutes, and serve immediately. Pie will keep up to 4 days covered in the refrigerator.

How to make perfect apple pie. 🤤⁠ ⁠ Cast Iron Apple Pie⁠ ⁠ Ingredients⁠ Pie Crust:⁠ 2½ cups flour⁠ 16 tablespoons unsalted butter (2 sticks), cubed and cold⁠ 1 teaspoon salt⁠ ½ cup ice water⁠ Apple Filling:⁠ 8 large granny smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced⁠ ½ cup granulated sugar⁠ ½ cup brown sugar⁠ 2 teaspoons cinnamon⁠ ½ teaspoon nutmeg⁠ 3 tablespoons flour⁠ 2 tablespoons lemon juice (Juice from one lemon)⁠ 1-2 tablespoons butter⁠ ⁠ Steps⁠ 1. For the pie crust: In a large mixing bowl, mix flour, salt and cold butter, using a fork or your hands, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time. Once the dough is workable, turn out onto a lightly floured surface and form mixture into a ball. Cut the dough in half and flatten it into two discs. Wrap each disc in plastic and refrigerate for at least one hour.⁠ 2. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Roll out half your dough on a floured surface to a 15-inch round. If you can’t make 15-inches, you can use some dough from the second disc. This will be the bottom crust.⁠ 3. Melt 1 tablespoon butter on a 12-inch cast iron pan. Swirl pan so butter coats the whole surface. Remove from heat and place the rolled out dough inside the pan. Gently press the crust into the sides of the pan.⁠ 4. Bake bottom crust for 10 minutes. ⁠ 5. For the filling: Mix together sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour in a large bowl. Add apple slices, lemon juice and toss until they’re coated in the sugar mixture. ⁠ 6. Add apple filling to skillet and dot with butter.⁠ 7. Roll other half of pastry dough and cut into strips. 8. Weave the strips to form a lattice on top. Trim the sides of the crust.⁠ 9. Bake for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and pie crust is golden brown.⁠ 10. Allow pie to cool for a bit and serve with ice cream.⁠ ⁠ ⁠
