I posted a before and after photo on a gastric bypass support group page recently and was immediately sent way too messages asking “what’s your secret?!” or I’ll see comments all the time saying “I had surgery but didn’t lose a lot of weight/ gained it all back - the surgery didn’t work for me.” I will ALWAYS be supportive of everyone and I’m happy to share what I did/ am doing throughout my journey but don’t get upset with me or anyone else that tell you that you need to have a BIG mindset shift • • I was successful with my weight-loss after surgery but I told myself enough was enough and I was ready to change my life forever. It wasn’t a diet and it was a quick fix for 6 months - this is something I committed to for the rest of my life. I was changing my ENTIRE LIFESTYLE. No more fast food, no more soda, no more fried food, no more mindless eating of junk - I made the decision to eat food that was good for me and would make me feel good. Y’all, can we just talk about boobs for a minute? As you can see the struggle is real. Apparently the choice is to either wear a bikini top with all the underboob or boobs bulging out of the top. I for one don’t want to be at constant risk of a nip slip. I thought that finding clothes that fit would be so much easier after I lost weight - I was wrong. Feeling confident and in a place where I want to wear bikinis on holiday I thought I’d buy some size 12 bikinis. Why is it so impossible to find a pretty bikini top that fits actual boobs, without costing a million pounds? I know you can buy tops in bra sizes but it’s so limiting! It seems that shopping for clothes isn’t easy no matter what size you are! Oh and if you made it this far, this is a reminder to check your boobs! 🍈🍈👌🏼

I was chubby, heavy, big my whole life. But after having my son at 260lbs and just feeling like crap I knew I had to do something and stick to it. I tried keto and lost 10lbs the first 10 days. Here’s FIVE simple tips that you should implement for your weight loss. I see so many people wasting a lot of time with supplements, training styles and their nutrition. Which frustrates me because I know they can achieve so much whilst staying away from a lot of the BS they are reading in the magazines, from awful personal trainers and slimming clubs. Here Five simple tips you should implements. 1. Weight loss = A calorie deficit Whilst you want to be in a deficit you don’t want to be to steep in it straight away. 2. Sleep. Put the phone away 2 hour priors bed time, get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. 3. Consume High percentage of protein in your nutrition. Your hunger will stay away, it’ll help with muscle growth, repair and recover. Don’t worry you won't look like a bodybuilder you’re in a deficit. 4. A training program that’s built around progressive overload and the style YOU enjoy. 5. Track your food intake, Track your training, Track EVERYTHING!. What isn’t measured, can’t be managed. Many things can change during a weight loss phase they you most probably don’t know about and that’s why everything needs to be tracked because there are many circumstances to why you’ve hit a plateau. By tracking everything it’s easier to asses.
