How to Lead Multi Generations!
Nearly 1 in 3 Employees are Millennials today & has Fundamentally Changed the Workplace Dynamics.
And the problem is because they grew up with Technology, they are no longer assimilating to past generations but the opposite is unfolding. Older generations must assimilate to their style and workplace demands because their values have drastically changed.
Companies today need to place a higher emphasis on workplace engagement, and emotional support because when they are engaged and connected to their work, they are more productive, focused and find fulfillment in their contribution. So what works in leading these generations effectively.
1. Provide Clarity - When they are spoken to with clear and direct talk stating exactly what is expected, they actually want and appreciate straight talk.
2. Consistency - Providing feedback is vitally important for the younger workforce. People like to do more of what they do well if they understand how to do it. They want to grow and learn and are willing to make adjustments if necessary.
3. Certainty - When you provide clear and consistent messaging regarding success, they understand the need to take action. They understand to become an agent of change, a practical contributor to the cause, and a constant learner to achieve greatness.
