Alt 2: reducera till 50 reps Idag har vi alltså en workout i två delar med 3 min vila emellan. Först gör du 100 lunges (för alternativ 2 så reducerar du antalet till 50). Varje minut (inkl första minuten), gör du 5 dips. Dipsen kan du göra lättare genom att sätta fötterna närmre rumpan! I lunges, gå ned så långt du kan med knät mot golvet, och håll rörelsen rak och i balans. Stegen fram och tillbaka ska ske med benen höftbrett isär. När du gjort dina 100/50 lunges, vila i 3 min. Därefter gör du 100/50 dips i samma anda - med 5 lunges varje minut (inkl första minuten!). Detta blir 🔥 fort, använd bara kort vila om du måste. 🏋️‍♂️WALL-BAR VARIETIES FOR BOXERS🥊 – PART 1️⃣ . . 👊Boxers, prepare to 'raise the bar' on your strength training with these varieties😉 . . ☝️This video is briefly showcasing only a few of the many wall-bar varieties I’ve used over the years in my training and on others. Focused heavily on explosiveness, boxing mechanics, corrective movement and all-round conditioning necessary for the crucial functions of a boxer. . . 😤Many will disagree and frown at this statement…but the conventional style of weights training most commonly used in sports and in this instance, boxing, are extremely overrated and overused. While such exercises as deadlifts, squats and bench press may provide you with a well-balanced, general platform of strength and conditioning, there is just way too much time and focus spent on these generally non-specific movements. I decided a long time ago to detour away from these one-dimensional concepts and invest my time and experimentation into exercises that can further develop the finer, more particular movements and functions of a boxer. By using exercises that closely replicate and imitate the commonly executed manoeuvres in boxing or at least target the same compound firing patterns carried out by a boxer. . . 🦅Above all, apart from the fact that these are superior in benefit in comparison to many other fundamentally used weights training techniques in boxing...they are also more enjoyable! I cannot think of anything worse than doing dead-beat back squats when I know I can whip, turn, snap, switch and swing my way through a session and cover everything I need to create a well conditioned fighter! . . 🧐Watch this space to see more of what I’m on about

For the non readers: hip flexor hold: 2-3 mins hip thrust iso hold: 5+ mins (over emphasize flexing your glutes in both) ————————————————— Alright so last week I said this was going to be my PT account now with “lifts, tips, n shit”. So here it is To start it off here are two of my favorite activation stretches that take some of that tension off the hip flexors and lower back. I try and work these in throughout any time of the day, why? Because if you don’t already complain about lower back pain/ or your lower back being tight, you probably will in the future DUE TO YOUR WEAK GLUTES. If your glutes are weak your hip flexors are working over time when you’re standing and especially when you are sitting for prolonged hours during the day which will be a main cause for that lower back pain. 1st. Hip extension: I see many people who over extend their hip past 15-20° in this position and move all arround and make shit all complicated. the fact is it’s quite simple to get a deep stretch. Work with a 2-3 minute hold. Keep your torso upright. SQUEEZE YOUR F**KING GLUTES like you’re tryna keep a 100$ bill in between them and don’t want anyone to take it. The purpose of squeezing the glutes in this position is that when the agonist (glute max/med) is activated the antagonist (hip flexors) are working less. You will feel this in the flexor of the leg extended behind you. 2nd. Hipthrust Hold: 5+ mins This is more of an activation than it is a stretch, however turning the glutes on will force the hip flexors to relax. Squeeze yo cheeks the whole time and hold at the top with the mid portion of your scapula resting on the (bench,seat,couch,etc). Doing this every day will eventually take some of that tension out of your lower back over the course of a month or 2 (be consistent). Pain from this tension primarily caused by being seated for too long. This activation can be easily done and held at home while watching TV, or being on your phone reading this.

Early morning session ✅ I did this mornings workout with no supplements just a big breakfast and a coffee just to see how my body reacted to my workout and the only thing I noticed differently was my recovery time through sets was a bit longer, didn’t get the biggest pump but still felt pumped and I wasn’t sweating as much. Interesting. I’m definitely not an early morning guy to train but I just couldn’t sleep last night and woke up at 5am this morning and felt the need to go and exhaust my body it’s now 9:15am and I have now done everything I needed to do today, early mornings aren’t so bad after all.
