Oysters 🌊 are known to have the perfect match with 🍾 champagne. .
✳️ Oysters can reveal their terroir easily like grapes expressing flavors of crisp coastal breeze flavors (ocean, cold water, saltiness, etc) .
✳️ The pairing: of course the popular pairing and best match is brut champagne in my opinion because the salinity of the oysters makes a great contrast with the bubbles and acidity of the champagne to create a yummy feeling. .
✳️ In lieu of champagne, I can almost drink it with anything dry lean white wine that doesn’t have oak flavors (buttery flavors 😬), Rosé, Grüner Veltliner, or in this case a beautiful French Chablis that is high acid, dry, minerality and marine notes.
