🥗Ingredients for 8 serving
1 Fathead Dough
1 tbsp of grass-fed butter or other healthy fat
1/2 yellow onion sliced thinly
3 red baby bell peppers sliced thinly
1 jalapeno sliced thinly (optional)
1.5 tbsp Onion Salt Each brand of Onion Salt will vary in their level of saltiness. The one linked in the recipe has more of an onion flavor (along with parsley and garlic powder) with some sprinkles of salt. You should add .5 tbsp of onion salt at a time until you love the taste!
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1 tsp Ground Parsley
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 lb Shaved Steak I get mine from Trader Joes
5 slices White American Cheese I like to get this sliced fresh from the deli because the packaged kind does not taste the same to me
Sriracha Mayo Sauce
1/2 tbsp Lime Juice
2 tbsp Sugar-Free Ketchup
1 tbsp Sriracha
1 tbsp Real Hellmann’s Mayo

I’ve been crazy busy and I had to make a Costco run today while starving. I opted for a 100% beef hot dog minus the bun with sauerkraut, onions, and brown mustard along with a sugar free Minute Maid lemonade. It’s #dirtyketo which I rarely do, but it kept me from cheating on my #keto diet. Make the best choices with what’s available when in a pinch. Not all fish is created equal. Unfortunately farmed salmon is inferior to Wild salmon which is one of my favourite food sources.
Wild salmon contains a healthy dose of omega 3 and lower omega 6 ratio. To reduce inflammation you require lower amounts of omega 6 and more omega 3s! Another important antioxidant found in wild salmon is a carotenoid called Astaxanthin which functions as a powerful antioxidant benefiting our Mitochondria from free radicals. It protects the skin from damage from the inside out and Improves immune function and even our eye health 👁.
The recipe Serves 2 or 1 hungry person.
This would be a great lunch with some salad leaves thrown in too.
2 x 150 grams Wild sockeye salmon fillets
200 grams asparagus
200 grams cherry tomatoes
• marinade - mix and glaze salmon fillets (1/2 tbsp coconut aminos + 1/4 tsp salt + 1/4 tsp dried kelp + pinch chilli flakes)
1. Preheat grill to high.
2. Add the asparagus and tomatoes to the pan. Put under the grill for 5 minutes until Tomatoes blistered.
3. Add the marinated salmon flesh side up on top of the vegetables.
4. Put pan back in oven for another 5 minutes.
5. Take out and turn salmon over. Put back in oven to crisp skin up for 1-2 minutes. (Avoid burning or charring)
6. Remove pan. Then half an Avocado.
7. Sprinkle over extra kelp + squeeze of lemon juice and season to taste. Voila.

Sautéed a bunch of veggies in @kerrygoldusa butter tonight for a meatless Monday: Broccoli, cabbage, Portobello mushrooms. Steve ate his stir fried w/noodz; I ate mine with a salad cuz I’ve been needing more veggies in my life. And out of mixing bowls cuz I’m lazy. 🤷🏻♀️
