This is a difference of about 1 year of FRC and PRI work. Last year this time-I literally couldn’t body weight squat any lower than that without falling over backwards or feeling pressure in my low back. 🔹A year of working on improving basic shit-getting my axial skeleton (head, ribcage, pelvis) under better control and into a better position with PRI @posturalrestoration principles and improving how each of my joints work with FRC @functionalrangeconditioning principles has yielded large improvements in my gross movement patterns and quality of movement. 🔹One thing that I want to make clear here is that I strongly believe that blending different principles from different systems is the best way to do things-PRI and FRC are 2 relatively different schools of thought on how to make the body work better. I think both of them can be used together-when you have your ribs and hips stacked on top of each other properly, it’s easier for your muscles to return to their normal length-tension relationship. Putting your body in a better position can open up the joints a bit more and make your range of motion training more effective. Try not to sway too far in any one direction, the answer is usually in the middle. 🔹Still have a lot of work to do. My right ankle still limits me. Just wanted to share a snapshot of where I was vs where I am now. I didn’t just wake up today able to do this. You have to put in the work. Every day. Not for just a couple days or weeks. Every damn day. 365 days a year. Real change takes constant, consistent input and reinforcement. You have to do the work. Even if it feels like a drag or you don’t want to on that day. Have some grit. 🔹Now I can squat down and take a dump in the forest without falling over. Could probably do bicep curls at the same time.

Guava lowcarb mousse! With almond milk, coconut milk and xylitol! ➡️mousse: 6 Goiabas cortadas em pedaços 6 cs xylitol 2 xicaras de leite de amendoa 1 xicara de leite de coco 1 cs amido de milho 1/2 limão espremido 100 ml água Bata as goiabas no liquidificador com casca e semente e um pouco de água. Jogue essa pasta na panela. Adicione 1/2 limao espremido, 5 cs de xylitol e mexa até começar a escurecer e parecer com goiabada. Desligue o fogo e reserve parte dele para a calda. Aguarde esfriar, ponha essa goiabada no liquidificador. Adicione 1 cs xylitol e o leite de amendoa e bata. Despeje o conteudo na panela novamente. Misture o leite de coco com o amido de milho e jogue a mistura na panela. Mexa até começar a engrossar. Distribua a mousse em potinhos, deixe esfriar e depois coloque na geladeira por algumas horas. . ➡️calda: 3cs xylitol 200ml água A goiabada que reservou antes de terminar a mousse 1/2 limão espremido Adicione tudo em uma panela e mexa até ficar com a consistência desejada. Espere esfriar e depois coloque em cima da mousse após resfriada. Eu coloquei pedacinhos de coco ralado para decorar.
